Kristina Schopper
Born in
Phoenix, Arizona, 1971, Kristy Schopper studied at the University of
Texas
at Austin under the mentoring of Richard Jordan and Peter Saul.
She works in small and large scale, via ink, oil or outdoor acrylic
accordingly, with rich colors and strong brush strokes. Whatever the
approach, her work is all about Painting; As the cause and the effect.
Since 1999, as the founder and director of The Space, she has
provided local artists with free studio space in Long Island City and
constantly works toward giving Art a bigger place in the mind's eye of
the public.
